Care Services
Comfort, dignity and choice, to the end
Care that stays focused on the person rather than the illness, in the room they know, among people who know them.
Hospice is a philosophy of care, not a place
Hospice is for Members living with a life-limiting illness, and its aim is not to extend life at any cost but to protect dignity, comfort and choice through the final months.
We partner with licensed hospice agencies to provide it: their clinical team manages pain and comfort, and our own team stays close throughout, so a Member is never without people who already know them.
It is usually appropriate when a condition has become incurable and the prognosis is under six months, but it is not a one-way door. Members can and do leave hospice care when their condition improves.
Compassion and dignity

Family support
What families receive
Hospice supports the people around the Member too, through grief counseling, practical guidance, and the simple relief of not being the only one awake at three in the morning.
- Space to be present, not managing logistics
- Grief and bereavement counseling
- Respite care so family carers can rest
- The choice of community-based or in-home care
